Our story

Where tradition meets gluten-free baking.

I’m Deena, the baker behind Seattle Gluten Free Breads. I grew up in a big Italian and Mexican family where food was how we cared for each other and bread was always at the center of the table.

After my celiac diagnosis, I refused to accept that gluten-free bread had to be dry, dense, or disappointing. So I started recreating the recipes I loved, beginning with biscotti, and fell into a full-on obsession: making gluten-free bread taste like the real thing.

Today, as a fourth-generation food maker, I bring that same family-rooted passion into every loaf. Small batches, no preservatives, and textures that remind you of the bread you’ve been missing.
